Sometimes when food tastes good I often wonder if it's really good for me. I love to eat bad food! Guilty of snacking on chicharon, chocolates and chips. But I'm really making an effort to live healthier lately.  My Dad keeps on telling me that a few years from now, 1 out of 4 adults will be obese. Gosh... and I feel I'm heading to that path.

It's really getting easier to live healthy nowadays. People more and more are embracing organic food and going vegan. Here's a meat alternative that's not only good for you, but good for the environment as well. Quorn tastes like meat, feels like meat, looks like meat. But it's definitely not meat. It's made of natural ingredient with low saturated fats but high in protein and fiber.

It offers a wide food range to satisfy any palate.

It's main ingredient is called MYCROPROTEIN, made through fermentation like how bread, beer and yoghurt are made.

We got to taste Quorn Pizza and Nuggets. Both of my boys loved it and didn't even notice it wasn't meet!

Of course we didn't tell them anymore. What they don't know won't hurt them...

We are trying to put our little kuya on a diet and with Quorn having 200 fewer calories per meal and 0% cholesterol, it really is a delicious way to diet without compromising other nutritional needs. It's high in protein, high fiber, and also 85% less saturated fat than lean beaf.

Other than nutritional benefits, Quorn is also better for the planet. It uses 40%-90% less land and water. It also has carbon footprint 90% less than beef and 75% less than chicken. And finally, after 30 years of being available around the world, Monde Nissin Corp. is bringing Quorn in the Philippines soon!

Watch out for Quorn, visit www. Quorn.com and www.facebook.com/QuornPH for more information.
