While still at home I decided to organize my shoes. Most of my shoes are under our bed or the space under our sink in the bathroom. It's driving me crazy to crouch down and reach under our bed every time I'm looking for a pair! And the truth is, I'm running out of space...

I've kept most of my shoes in their boxes. But when we travel and buy shoes abroad, most of the time we leave the boxes behind to save on baggage space. 

So, for the pairs without boxes I bought clear boxes from Little Emily Shop.  

These boxes are P50/each, but you can also get it at wholesale price of P280 for 8pcs or P35. Not bad right?! Very easy to assemble. I saw these at Robinson's and they sell it at P90!

I don't have a shoe closet like Carrie Bradshaw... although I wish I had one! I had our maids put everything in the third floor of our house for the meantime. The area was suppose to be a den but right now it looks like a storage area for everything...

I sort of organized everything by brand and/or by use. Put together all those with boxes on one side.

As you can see, I have lots from Schu. A few from Anthology Shoes, Salt Water Sandals, So! F.A.B., Tory Burch and Jeffrey Campbell.

Then all those in clear boxes I stacked together too. Categorized to: dressy shoes, casual (flats and sandals), sneakers, office shoes and black pumps.

I like shoe boxes with pictures of the style/design outside for easy identification.

I can't believe they all fit under our bed!!! Next are the shoes under my sink... not as many shoes but it's the several dozens of Havaianas I have to sort out!

Feeling Blue in Schu

I passed by Rockwell last Friday and spied this blue platforms in the Chocolate Schu Bar. I had to be in and out of the mall in 5mins so I couldn't go inside and check it out. But from afar, I fell in love with it already!

The goddesses from @schu_shop heard my raves over twitter and reserved a pair for me! I was already plotting a way to go to Rockwell again. Yesterday I had to go to my doctor... this was my chance to pick up.

Waah! So huge already! This is why I avoid outfit shots. Notice the sticker on my arm?! Lol!

The color stands out and the height of the platform is quite comfy. I'm really partial to blue (guess where I went to college???). Before cobalt blue was even fashionable, I already used it as my motif when I got married.

The other shoes in the Spring/Summer Collection are also lovely. Worth visiting Chocolate Schu Bar! Lots of sandals and wedges to accent your maxis and shorts this summer!

Schu Outlet Store

If you've been reading my blog for a long time, you'd know I'm such a fan of Schu. Sometimes, during lunch breaks in the office, I'd walk along Ayala to visit their outlet store neart the Smart building. But sometime last year they closed it and said they would be moving to Ortigas. Well, no more lunch break trips. But at least it's on the way home.

Yesterday they announced on their FB page the opening of their new factory outlet today! Yey! Items you've missed previous seasons can - sometimes - still be found here at cheaper prices.

I need to bribe my hubby to drive me there soon!

Hi Schu! Hello Again!

Because I have a very delicate pregnancy right now I can't go out that much. If ever I do, I have to be in a wheelchair. Limits my shopping... not so happy about that! But hubby seems to like it...

Today on my way home from work I felt I needed some retail therapy badly and decided to drop by one of my fave shoe shops, Schu, in Rockwell. I walked ever so slowly to the second floor and what do you know, they were on sale!

The sandals I've been wanting for the longest time, now on sale for P999. The flats are super soft and comfy. Perfect for pregnant me!

There were some heels and wedges I wanted too but those have to wait til I give birth in April.

Nice way to start the year!

Reunited and it feels so good!

Months ago I bought a pair of vanilla oxfords from Schu. But something bad happened to it while I was using it in the US (read post here). 

A few days ago I received a gift from them!

My wonderful oxfords! Yey! It was so nice of them to replace it. I so love this pair coz it matches with almost anything. 

See?! Well, not up to dressing up so much yesterday... mommy outfit to a nearby resto.

Panic Buying at Schu

So, I brought my mom to the closing out sale of Schu in Shangri-la today. I wasn't planning to get anything since the last time I was there I already got what I wanted. But whenever I'm with my mom shopping, we always go crazy.

I don't know the official tally. I just know know I ended up with four shoes and one sandals. My mom even got sandals for my son's yaya and her yaya. The thing is, since it's buy one take one, we had to get even numbers. And just when we thought we were done shopping, my mom would find something she'd like. Then we'd need another pair to "take one".

Ended up buying the boots my BFF bought. Both colors.

I didn't see this pair last Wednesday. It was in my size!

"Ang dami!" These are all my mom's. I think she's trying to beat Imelda. She still has some shoes from our US trip last month I think she hasn't worn yet.

We have monsters under our bed... they're all shoe boxes. And I'm running out of space. Either I get a bigger bed... or better yet, turn one of our guest room into a shoe closet.

Last night I went to the Shangri-la branch to check out the last remaining shoes on sale. The two pairs I wanted were no more to be found. I was so stupid not to get it when I saw it. Felt really bad about it. Was surprised that they were selling items for P799 - buy one take one! I thought nothing would fit me since there's not much left in my size... but the shoe gods were looking down on me and I got these boots!

My friend who was also with me, was pressured to get a pair too! Imagine almost P400 for a pair of Schu?! Crazy right?! She ended up getting this one...

There were more designs for bigger feet. Like for sizes seven to ten. I bet I would've gotten more if only there were more that fit me. But totally happy with my loot... even if I promised I'd be on shopping ban til December.

On my way home tonight, my BFF called me and told me she also went to Schu in Shang to see if she could snag two pairs too... she told me she got these...

Good job BFF! I'm planning to take pictures of them while wearing their shoes.

Schu Closing Sale

I was running errands in Shangrila yesterday and passed by the Schu store. Apparently the branch is closing! Gosh, I'm not often in Shangrila, but I definitely go to Schu every time I'm there. 

I hope they're just moving to a different space or maybe to a different mall. Anyway, they have put everything on sale! As in, everything is P799!!! Yep, great deal right?! And I'm always up for great deals!

Something happened to my vanilla oxfords I got from Schu!!! So sad! I don't know if it was the change of weather from Canada to Texas that affected the leather...

It was a bit cold in Canada and then super hot in Texas... maybe that's it. Still feel bad my shoes were really comfy and matched most of my outfits. Wonder if this can still be fixed????

Love Love from Schu

I received a message from Schu the other day. They have GCs for me for being a "loyal customer"! During my lunch break today, I dropped by Glorietta branch to pick it up.

I expected love, but I didn't expect this MUCH love from them! I had tears in my eyes!

It had a handwritten note... I love notes! 

I immediately called my husband to share the news. Now he's probably wondering how many pairs I really have! I would take a picture of all the Schus I have but then I have to dig deep in my shoe closet and hubby might find out about the pairs I kept from him. LOL! 

But here's some I've blogged about...

The last two I've actually laid to rest already along with a brown peep-toe pumps. Suffice it to say, it's quite a number! What can I say, when I fall in love, I fall hard!

When the going gets tough...

... the tough goes shopping!

Feeling depressed lately with work. My boss hasn't approved my leave yet and I'm worried she might not ever let me go. Maybe she'll let me go but I probably won't hear the end of it.

Ended up walking around Ayala Ave. to lift my spirits and guess where my three-inch heels brought me...

My favorite outlet store: Schu. Really wasn't planning to buy anything but I saw this low-heeled snake skin slingbacks... I'm hiding the back of my feet coz of blisters! Yuck!

And then saw also these oxfords in black, vanilla, hot pink and teal... tried vanilla...

Ack! My legs are huge! Anyway... there's also this white sandals with wooden heels with a bit of turquoise...

Guess what I got?! Wait for the outfit shots!

I do love going to the outlet store coz it's like it's on sale everyday! Buying the shoes did put a smile on my face. I'm bringing one of the pairs I bought to my trip. I have the perfect tube jumpsuit that would go with it!
