Was a bit disappointed with myself when I started surfing and found out that Salt Water Sandals are available here in the Philippines. I should've done better research when I bought my pair. I could've saved a thousand from shipping.

You see I got mine from Zappos. It was on my list when I went to the US for a vacay but completely forgot about it while I was there! I was about to go home when I remembered. I ended up ordering and having it shipped here. Although I used the Johnny Air Cargo service, it was still a bit expensive. Then I find out which stores carry them here! Salter Water Sandals have been around for about 60 years now. Originally manufactured by Hoy Shoe Company in St. Louis, MO. Really great for Philippine weather, rain and shine. Even suggested to be worn wet for awhile for the leather to fit better.

Well, in case there's not a craze over this yet, let's make one!

I finally succumbed and got the Foxy in black kidskin leather. I'm not sure whether I'm really a 5 or 5.5 but I think I should get my next pair half a size bigger. But I was running around to so many events yesterday I didn't get a shot of my outfit.

Schu Closing Sale

I was running errands in Shangrila yesterday and passed by the Schu store. Apparently the branch is closing! Gosh, I'm not often in Shangrila, but I definitely go to Schu every time I'm there. 

I hope they're just moving to a different space or maybe to a different mall. Anyway, they have put everything on sale! As in, everything is P799!!! Yep, great deal right?! And I'm always up for great deals!

I just came back from the US. I tried hard not to over indulge this time with shoes - since I'm really a shoe addict - I realized I ended up bringing home eight pairs of shoes. Most of which were bought to me by my mom and my aunts. These should have satisfied me for a few months right?!

Rediscovering Hard Candy

Walmart is the best! Cheap prices and it has almost everything! Aside from baby stuff (bottles, nipples and diapers), I usually get my make up fix there of brands I usually see in the Philippines like Maybelline, L'Oreal, Revlon and Covergirl. Since its about a hundred or a couple of hundred pesos cheaper. But yesterday, I was re-introduced to a brand I've almost forgotten exists - Hard Candy. I used to get the nail polish years ago since they were the only brand I knew that offered black, dark blue and green colored polish.

From nail polish, the brand has expanded to a full make up line. For the past ten years, it has been coming out with edgy, yet colorful products in the market.

I did ask the SA for Mulberry but she said lots of people ask about it but they don't carry. I knew they didn't have it but no harm trying.
