Crystal clear!

She's also one of my faves. Last night was Rolling Stones night. I loved that she sang "You Can't Always Get What You Want" I was re-introduced to the song when it was sang in Glee.

Tonight is elimination night again. Crossing my figures all my faves survive tonight!

America, you got it wrong!

I can't believe who got kicked out last Thursday (Friday in the Philippines) night in American Idol! Why? Oh, why?!

Lily was one of my favorites. Not the usual pop star. Alex also was booted out. Not a super fan, but was kinda rooting for him too.

Kately and Todrick said farewell too. I'm not a fan, so it's okay.

Now it's down to the final twelve. This is when I always watch because I enjoy having guest mentors. Although they always say something nice about the contestants. But it's still exciting. I'm a bit bored this season though... I hope someone really steps up to spice up the show.

Simon says: Goodbye!

Monday, January 11, 2010

Speaking of Simon Cowell... what's this I see?! Simon to say adios to Am-Idol already?! Ano ba yan! This season's show hasn't started yet and we already have another judge leaving the show?! Yahoo! news reports that this will be Cowell's last season...

"Simon Cowell, the acerbic Brit who has helped give "American Idol" some of its sharpest — and nastiest — moments, will leave the hit TV singing contest after this season.

The cantankerous judge said Monday that "The X Factor," a talent show he created and which is popular in Britain, will join Fox's schedule next year. Cowell will be a judge on "The X Factor" and its executive producer.

Cowell's decision is the biggest threat yet to what has consistently been the country's top-rated TV program and a true cultural force. This season, original host Paula Abdul has been replaced by Ellen DeGeneres.

But Cowell, with his caustic commentary, has long been seen as the big star of "Idol."

He said it would have been difficult for him to do both shows. While he makes a reported $36 million a year to be on "American Idol," he owns "The X Factor" and could make much more if the show takes off.

Cowell and top Fox executives made the announcement to reporters in Pasadena at a meeting of the Television Critics Association; they said they had reached an agreement only a few hours before.

"I was offered a lot of money to stay on," Cowell said. "But that wasn't the reason behind it. I wanted to do something different. I wanted a new challenge."

Awww... that's so sad! What will happen to Idol without you Simon?! Well, in the meantime, let's check out how Ellen will fare this season as replacement to Paula Abdul...

The Dark Horse shines!

I really find Kris Allen so cute! Adorable! I love his rendition of Apologize by One Republic.

But his second song, Heartless blew me away!

Adam Lambert will obviously be on the finals. I'm a U2 fan. Great job on One. I'm fan of both... now you know who I want to see in the finals...

DAVID wins American Idol Season 7

It's David Cook. Grrr...

For once can you please make my Idol win?!!!!

I still love Archuleta. Adorable. But don't you think he would fit better with Zac & Vanessa in High School Musical?! Hehehe...

Think Of Me: David Archuleta

Wednesday, April 23, 2008

Now... from my favorite...

Andrew Lloyd Weber was their mentor on this episode. I do love his broadway songs most specially those from Les Mis.

This is a nice version of Think Of Me from Phantom of the Opera.

You'll Always Be My Baby: David Cook

This is actually my ultimate favorite among Mariah's song. I was pleasantly surprised that he chose it.

He wasn't among my faves but after the Billy Jean performance he's on my list now.

I'm still a David Archuleta fan.

Welcome to Hollywood!!!

It's back!!! It seems that the writers strike has no effect on American Idol. It's audition time again and I'm back to my anti-social self every Wednesdays and Thursdays. Good thing I'm married already... I don't have to worry about spending time with my man! We'll just stay at home and laugh at all the hilarious and weird auditions.

First stop is Philly... tomorrow is Texas. Yahoo!

Idol 6

Saturday, January 13, 2007

I'll be going home early again every wednesday.

American Idol Season 6 will be starting on January 17, 2006. Same time and same channel. Same three judges.

The season premiere is usually my favorite. Watching people go crazy in auditions. I know, iknow, I'm not really a good singer. But, dang! I'm not uber bad either! And I know when I'm making a fool of myself on international television! But it does make great entertainment.
I hope we don't get another Taylor Hicks this season! Ugh!
